I provide counseling for individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. I take a holistic approach, using CBT and AODA counseling to develop strategies that work for each individual client. I am passionate about helping my clients find their way to emotional health and wellness.
My Approach
I work with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, from ages 7 to adulthood. I value the importance of rapport and as part of assessment process and throughout therapy.
Treatment Specialties:
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and use a systemic approach in my therapy. I use a trauma focused lens when assessing and treating clients. I am certified to treat Substance Use Disorders. Other areas of speciality include anxiety, depression, individual and family life transitions, parenting, self-esteem, behavioral concerns with children, trauma specific treatment, and addiction.
I have been practicing for over 10 years. Treatment modalities I commonly use are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy based interventions, motivational interviewing, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and TF-CBT. I use a client centered approach and value continuing to learn and explore new strategies and interventions to support my clients.
