Welcome to my practice! I am passionate about working with individuals, particularly the younger generation, to help them develop coping and regulation skills essential for a brighter future. Using a variety of techniques, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy, I strive to provide the support my patients need to thrive. Training & Experience:
I am passionate about supporting people of all ages through life’s challenges and detours. I hold space for clients to navigate on the journey of living, struggling, healing and discovering using an eclectic solution-focused, person-centered approach.
I work with children, young adults and adults. I have 16 years of experience working in community care from parent mentoring to assessment to crisis work in school districts throughout Dane County. That experience has been primarily working with children and families with multi-system involvement and complex developmental and / or trauma histories. I can speak to a variety of approaches to support children and parents as well as consultation, skill building and use of play and expressive arts in the therapy space.
More than anything, it my my goal to discover, along with you, what could create more contentment and ease in your life and move closer to that.
