I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and my Master of Arts degree from Lakeland College.

While my specialty is helping women and children of all ages heal from complex trauma and abuse, I also enjoy helping individuals navigate life transitions, relationship issues, lifestyle changes, anxiety and depression. I draw from a variety of evidence based practices including Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent Child Psychotherapy.
It is of utmost importance to me that my clients feel comfortable and supported no matter what their challenges may be. I would describe myself as warm, welcoming, down to earth and someone who likes to laugh. I find joy in connecting with my clients in their journey and helping them move toward reaching their identified goals.
Outside of work you will most likely find me at a ball field or court watching one of my three kids play. I enjoy walking my dog, Hooper, and reading (or more likely, listening to audio books). If I can do any of these things while drinking coffee, even better!
